Escort ZR3 Laser Shifter

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Radars and laser shifters are one of my favorite accessories for cars. I have an Audi R8 so quite often I must admit, I am driving above the limits. So I bought the Escort ZR3 Laser Shifter which sense incoming police radar and returns a shifted pulse, confusing the radar gun with an error message. It's programmed with a "receive only" mode for detecting but not shifting incoming signals. The ZR3's in-cab control display shows the source, strength and direction of incoming police laser signals. Gone are the days when I used to get speeding tickets, now I just turn my shifter on and it's all gone.
