My Personal Experience With Cross-Country Moving

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

I got an offer for a great job. The only trouble is it’s in Seattle, and I live in Jersey. I’m dreading having to deal with
Cross-Country Moving. So expensive, and such a hassle.
So now I have to spend hour after hour digging around for info on Moving Furniture Cross-Country, and I don’t even want to think about packing. Nightmare.
I just want it to be done with. It feels like buying all my own stuff all over again, in a way - sometimes I think I should just sell it all and start over.
Alright - that’s all for now.

Corner bath tubs allow optimum space management

Monday, August 11th, 2008

My friend, Halley O’Conor, recently purchased a one-room apartment and, expectedly, threw a compact house warming party to us in order to “show-off” her latest possession. After the lengthy journey, as she stays far away from the city, I decided to get “soaked” before plunging into the party! I was startled to see how well she had designed the tiny bathroom by placing various utility fittings all over including Corner Bath Tubs. Because of the bathtub, sufficient space was available in the bathroom for setting up additional accessories. By installing this cute unit, the over-all appearance of the bathroom changed completely.

Making A Gray Wigglers’ Home

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

When moving gray wigglers into a new home, their bedding is a little different than other worm farms you may have had before. It is suggested to set up their bedding so that it is more coarse and dense than normal.
Gray wigglers prefer moist beds. They also like to be left alone, to eat and do their thing. Their bedding should be made up of one-third each of leaf mulch, top soil, and manure. This type of bedding works especially well. Gray wigglers really enjoy leaf and grass clippings.
Keeping their bedding moist and filled with sufficient clippings will keep your wigglers happy. Turn the bedding about once a month to allow air flow to the beds. Other than that, they prefer, and require, as little interaction as possible.

Investing In Geo Thermo Heating And Cooling

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

It looks like
Geo Thermo Heating and Cooling is finally starting to show some progress here in the U.S. Iceland gets most of their energy from geothermal, of course. But it turns out that the U.S. has excellent geothermal resources as well, that we ought to be putting to better use.
From everything I’ve read about Geothermal Energy, it seems that geo-thermal has great potential, and will continue to grow.
I’m thinking a geothermal climate control system would be a fine investment, as would shares in the company.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Cheap designer vertical blinds

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

The window of my kitchen needed a blind to ward off the insects and sparrows that keep entering. The rain at times was a problem indeed. Since the shutters are wooden, they shut off the light when closed. I had seen my mother using Designer Vertical Blinds and decided that would be the best option for me. I was amazed to find them quite economical. There are lace blinds that firmly clasp the frame with the clips. Complete with a set of vanes the blinds are exclusive in design and color. The lining at the back reduces the light partially but takes care of the ventilation.

Passive Solar Heating Systems are great for homeowners that want to save money on energy in the long run, and are concerned about the environment as well.

Making life easier

Friday, July 25th, 2008

I really do not like to do any more work than is needed, and it is due to this fact that a few months ago when I redesigned my lounge I decided to install some remote control blinds, so that I would not even need to get up from my armchair in order to change a light level in the room. I think that these are a great invention and I would advise anyone to get themselves a set. They can be a little expensive but I think they are well worth every penny.
