Thinking About Schools For Massage Therapy

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

I’ve been researching the schools for massage therapy in my state, trying to figure out how to make a change. I hate my current job, and I’ve been at it for far too long..
I keep coming back to Phoenix School Of Massage as a possibility. Realistically, it would be best to stay close to home, and I think my budget can manage it.
Being a massage therapist would be so much more enjoyable than what I’m doing now. I could build a list of clients I like, set my own hours - it sounds like a good life.
Ok - that’s it for today.

industrial design masters

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Graduate courses in Industrial Design tend to focus on the technical aspects of the items on which they are working but they will also address issues such as ergonomics, safety and manufacturing economics. An industrial design masters will usually be 2 years in duration assuming that the student already has a bachelor’s degree in art design field or similar. There are some schools that will offer 3 year masters courses for students from disciplines other than design or art which are intended to provide a pre-requisite year of basic design skills, concepts and competencies which will then allow students to go on and complete the 2 year Masters In Industrial Design program.

PCDI Offers Distance Learning Courses

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Classroom use of computer based training continues to grow. The availability of programs to purchase as opposed to self made programs has speeded the growth of CBT. The development of CD-ROMS and computers equipped with CD-ROM drives created a whole new game for teaching and learning. When training discs and PCDI offers distance learning courses became available it eliminated most of the need to develop private programs. Easy to use training discs made CBT much more appealing to companies and individuals. Most pc applications now came with a tutorial [a form of CBT]. Tutorials have become so much a part of everyday life that most people do not even think of them as training.

Traditional Versus Online Computer Science Degrees

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

A degree in computer science is one of the most valuable qualifications that you can have if you aspire for a well paying job. There are two ways of earning these highly valuable computer science degrees i.e. either attending a traditional college or taking up an online course. The online course stands to gain an edge over the traditional format as it saves time, money and energy. While a traditional computer science degree would take four years, you could complete the same in two years with an online program. Since colleges running on Internet do not have to maintain a huge staff and do not incur great costs, their fee is very low as compared to traditional colleges. Comfort and convenience come as second nature to these online programs. Nevertheless, whichever way a computer science degree is a must recommend.

Learning About Career Training Online

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

I’ve decided to look into some
Career Training Online. It’s time I got out of this dead-end job and moved to something more substantial.
My friend said I should check out Phoenix Online Classes. I think he’s onto something there - it’s something I’ve always had a fancy for.
Staying at my present job is just not an option. I can’t imagine grinding it out day by day for the next thirty years. It’s time for a change.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Does It Work??

Friday, July 25th, 2008

So if you want to find a job, and are looking at a career choice expo as the answer, you may wonder if the amount of effort you put into going to one of these events will be worth your while.  The answer to that question is simple enough:  If you are willing to prepare yourself to interview, if you invest your energy into exuding confidence and can show prospective employers you really have something to offer them, if you are willing to follow up your expo visit by making lasting connections with people who can help you land that job you want – then certainly it’s all worth it.

I Am Interested In Medical Billing And Coding Training.

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

I am a senior in high school. I know that I want to enter the health care field, but I don’t think I want to work directly with patients. I don’t think I want to be a doctor or a nurse. I am interested in medical billing and coding training. After the doctor sees the patients, diagnoses the problem, and treats it, I want to take that information, choose the appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes, and bill the patient’s insurance company for the services. I don’t know if I will enter a program at a community college or online, but I’m fairly sure that I would like to enter the medical billing and coding field.

While Taking Phd Courses, What Is The Thesis Defence?

Monday, July 7th, 2008

When a student is taking Phd courses, they have to write a thesis on the the field of study that they are trying to get their Phd in. After they write the thesis and turn the paper in, they then have to go through what is called a thesis defence. This is like an examination but is different in many ways. The difference mostly is that the candidate that wrote the thesis is more knowledgeable then the examiners of the paper. The student has to go through a series of questions about the material that they wrote about and most of the questions will be rather easy for the student.

Schools For Massage Therapy

Friday, June 27th, 2008

I’ve been checking out the schools for massage therapy in my area, trying to decide if I can afford to make a change. I hate my job, and want to do something different.
It seems like Arizona School Of Massage Therapy is a good possibility. It would be best to stay close to home, after all, and I think I can afford it if I tighten my belt.
The life of a massage therapist just seems so much more peaceful and positive than wasting away in a soul-killing corporate hole. I’ve had enough.
