Proliferation of Client/Server Operations
The proliferation of client/server applications at remote office locations in configuration management process is significantly increasing network complexity. The factors that contribute to this problem include multiple types of servers, protocols, and applications; lack of standards; changing WAN services; and the ability of users to change configurations, devices, and applications at the remote site.
