Symptoms of reflux laryngitis
Symptoms for reflux laryngitis may also include a stuffy or runny nose and a slight fever, produced by multiplying the severity by the frequency for the following: hoarseness, throat pain, “lump-in-throat” sensation, throat clearing, cough, excessive phlegm, dysphagia, odynophagia, and heartburn. Endoscopic laryngeal signs included erythema and edema of the vocal folds and arytenoids, and interarytenoid irregularity, where the symptoms specific to the throat include pain with swallowing for pharyngitis and a hoarse voice when laryngitis is present.
