When you purchase a Eurail pass for Italy there are many bonuses. One being the free Eurail timetable. Another bonus is the discounted fares for the high-speed trains like the Eurostar, known for fast travel between long distances or highly traveled distances. The Italy Eurail pass also covers boat transportation on the Rhine and Mosel rivers. It does not include your seat reservation charge. Be sure to reserve seats on busy trains because your eurail train tickets allow you access to the train but do not guarantee you a seat. Your overnight train accommodations are also not included.
